Do Blondes Have More Fun?
I’ve always heard that blondes have more fun. My blonde readers can feel free to comment as to whether or not they do, but this post is mainly directed at my fellow brunettes. Do you feel you may be missing out on some fun? Do you often see blonde people engaging in fun from which you feel excluded? If not, do you perhaps fear that there is fun happening that you aren’t even aware exists? Well, fear not, as I intend to find out for all of us. I shall “take one for the team,” as they say. How, you ask, will I do this? I intend to test the “fun” theory by becoming blonde. We brunettes can do that nowadays; they have the technology that allows it.
This endeavor promises to be my most challenging yet, and will require full usage of my investigative skills and journalistic acumen. If I succeed, my brunette brethren, you can become blonde vicariously through me, and if I begin enjoying prodigious amounts of fun, you can purchase a dye kit and join me in blonde-ness. Conversely, if I begin putting up dumb blog posts soon, you will know why, and can stick with your natural color.

I’ve been blonde my entire life, and I can honestly say, I don’t understand the question about blondes having more fun. Having more fun than whom?! Okay okay, I kid. I wouldn’t say I have more fun than any different-hair-color person I know. So there ya go. Maybe the blondes on the… erm… BLONDER side of things have more fun than even me. :P

It all depends on your definition of fun! I have super tons of fun… even falling down! So I would have to say that blondes do not have more fun, they’re just melanin deprived… hey! maybe that’s the fun factor. Melanin must deprive people of fun.. yep that’s it. Hrmmm. Well, that’s my quasi-scientific opinion. Whew. What a mouthful. (I bet monkeys have more fun.)

I don’t know about fun, but I am required by law to have red hair–as a warning.

I’m not blonde, could never be blonde (wrong complexion for it), but I think I have as much fun as the next person, regardless of their hair color. BTW, I’m a redhead and they always say red heads are sassy, is that all redheads???
Omg – make sure you do it right or it will turn out orange. You really need to strip the dark color first then dye it for it to look right. Oh dear I am afraid, but you can always dye it back. I think blonde hair is overrated. Give me dark and brooding any day. P.S. Stay away from your eyebrows

As a smaller girl, I was a platinum blonde … Around 7 that began to change. Let’s say since “going back to my roots,” I’ve been happier, brighter, and glowier. It’s definitely NOT a cheap addiction, but well worth the investment. You do have more fun as a blonde — you feel emotionally lighter, glowier, and confident. Ck
@Peasprout, I know how to get you to go dark again fast: you are going to look so ‘Twilight!’ Sorry for being too ‘mom’ earlier. These things creep out when you are in your 30s.

well, there was this study i read some time back that said blondes get twice as many drinks as brunettes. I dunno how this is going to work for you as a man. I think you’re bored and you should buy a book on how to fill your days with new and interesting things. Or go for the look and write down all the nuances of the change.
for what it’s worth, during my brief period of superblonde, i can definitely say i got more attention and flattery.

I was thinking about this and the whole thing seems pointless. You could be bald and still have more fun than 90% of the population. You seem to have more fun than everyone I know combined!
